Saying goodbye to beauty and hello to dullsville.

I don't have terribly much to report.

Just.. I waved goodbye to my family for a week or so, and as a result to the beautiful shawl as it wings its way to its new owner. I hope it keeps her warm and loved for a long, long time.

I'm still knitting on that cardigan, only I'm terribly busy with writing of job applications (the necessary evil they are) so little else to report.

Send me good vibes so I can win the job I really want and be able to stop writing these blasted things!

Peace all.

Finished projects

I have two finished projects to display.

We have Print O' the Wave .. (sorry couldn't get another body to photograph)

Here it is unblocked....

and blocked...

and a little detail...

It was so big I had to move it from the spare bed to our kingsize after I started since it didn't fit the double bed..

Second we have the stashbusting Flame Beanie.

I'm now working on a cardigan for my daughter, and a simple scarf. All is good. The cardigan is in Filatura Di Crosa 'Zara' which I love. It's so soft and squooshy. Tiny bit splitty when knitting meaning you need to pay attention, but the loft on it is so lovely its totally worth it. And fabulous colours available.

Kudos to ZenHabits for excellent post-title. Interesting read...

Oh, and I probably post something later. I finished a beanie and hope to photograph a shawl.
