I quilted the top and edged and finished it this afternoon. You can see it got put to use by my darling girl as soon as I got home!
I learned a lot (including the vital importance of good tension when quilting) and was proud to have a finished object - even with all its flaws!I'm glad I did it, and have picked out some retro fabric to make a bag.
When I can get some grownup-time that is. Sewing is harder than knitting - i can multitasking with parenting while I knit, but sewing takes more of my concentration ;-)
